Created in Paris in 2021 by a public procurement expert and a management consultancy, ALMA CERTIF is a société par actions simplifiée (simplified joint stock company), born out of the realisation that certification to ISO standards is increasingly appearing among the referencing criteria of major groups, but also in the conditions for participation in public procurement contracts.
However, the vast majority of companies in all specialities lack ISO certification, despite the existence of real know-how within them.
The aim of ALMA CERTIF is therefore to make certification accessible to all, in order to further increase the number of certified bodies in France and worldwide.
Our name is inspired by the Latin expression alma mater, which means "foster mother". This expression is used to designate a university, a place of knowledge and skills.
A PROPOS DE L’ISO :
L’ISO (Organisation internationale de normalisation) est une organisation internationale non gouvernementale, indépendante, dont les 169 membres sont les organismes nationaux de normalisation.
Par ses membres, l’organisation réunit des experts qui mettent en commun leurs connaissances pour élaborer des normes internationales d’application volontaire, fondées sur le consensus, pertinentes pour le marché, soutenant l’innovation et apportant des solutions aux enjeux mondiaux”…
Les services de certification ” sont assurés par des organismes de certification externes, et par conséquent, une entreprise ou une organisation ne peut pas être certifiée par l’ISO. Néanmoins, le Comité de l’ISO pour l’évaluation de la conformité (CASCO) a élaboré un certain nombre de normes relatives au processus de certification, lesquelles sont appliquées par les organismes de certification.” … source: www.iso.org

Certification – “On appelle certification l’assurance écrite (sous la forme d’un certificat) donnée par un tiers qu’un produit, service ou système donné est conforme à des exigences spécifiques.”
Accréditation – ” Reconnaissance formelle par un organisme indépendant, en général un organisme d’accréditation, qu’un organisme de certification agit conformément aux Normes internationales.”
